NSS

 

Our College has two NSS Units with total strength of 200 volunteers. NSS Unit provides diversified opportunities to students in colleges to develop their personality through community services.
The overall objective of NSS is Personality Development through community service.
The activities of our college under NSS are two-fold, viz., 1. Regular Activities which are undertaken during the working days of the semester and 2. Special Camping activities for 7 days duration in the adopted villages  during vocation.  Under Regular Activities students undertake various need based programmes in the College Campus and adopted villages.  Under Special Camp 7 days camp organized in the adopted villages with a specified theme.

Achievements of NSS Units

• Our College has bagged State Level Best NSS unit award in 2009-10.
• Dr. Nirmala Hiregoudar received Best NSS Officer award & Miss Suvarna Ligade received Best NSS Volunteer award.
• Miss Manjula Yaralli received  Best NSS Volunteer Award in 2011-12.
• Organised State Level NSSYouth Festival in 2011-12.
• Miss Pooja Kanthi received  Best NSS Volunteer award in 2012-13.
• Miss Deepa Nimboji  received  Best NSS Volunteer award in 2015-16.
• NSS volunteers participated in National level, State Level RD Parade and ID Parade.
• Our College programme officer Dr. Sadhana Mathad was appointed as Nodal Officer in 2015-16.
